Elizabeth and Kurt are officially married!!!! I just can’t believe the 10 months since their gorgeous engagement session has already come and gone! It has been such a pleasure working with these two. Elizabeth worked in the wedding industry as a planner before becoming a teacher, so she knew exactly what to expect and how to plan out her own special day! And let me just stop right here and say that I am so proud of this couple! You guys, it was over 110 degree’s on their special day, but that didn’t stop them from having an amazing wedding! These two are troopers! I bet as you scroll through these favorite images of mine you won’t even be able to tell how hot it was! Everyone just called it the #ThorsonHeat! Haha!
Gold Hill Gardens is a gorgeous wedding venue located in Newcastle, California on the outskirts of Sacramento. It’s like a hidden oasis! Beautiful landscape and a gorgeous B&B where everyone could get ready. The reception area wasn’t just a pop-up event tent, it was a commercial-grade white-covered structure with beautiful lighting. You couldn’t help but have a peaceful feeling walking around the grounds. There’s just something about a garden that brings peace to one’s soul. The owners were so generous and helpful! Mike even took us in his Tundra up to a hill with a gorgeous old oak tree for sunset portraits!
Let’s just chat real quick about the wedding colors and attire! Elizabeth’s dress was STUNNING! A gorgeous light ivory-colored lace mermaid-style dress by Bride to Be Couture. The bridesmaids all had different styled mauve-colored dresses by David’s Bridal that were super light and flowy! The guys all wore white shirts with black tuxes and mauve-colored silk ties. Kurt had A’s cuff links, a gift from his beautiful bride! Everyone in the bridal party had such fun positive attitudes and were all just such a joy to be around!
It was such an honor to capture their special day!!! Matt and I loved getting to meet Elizabeth and Kurt’s families and getting to celebrate alongside them! Enjoy my favorites!

Kasey and Jason’s gorgeous ranch wedding at Bow and Arrow Ranch in Whitmore, California was full of joy, personality, and so many sweet moments!
