From the moment we arrived until the final sparkler faded into the night, Kayden and Ben's wedding day was filled with genuine joy, heartfelt moments, and memories we'll treasure for years to come.
Getting to celebrate these two on the Fourth of July made the day feel even more memorable. While fireworks are often the highlight of Independence Day, this year the greatest celebration was watching Kayden and Ben promise forever to one another, surrounded by the people who love them most.
One of the things we were most excited about was photographing at The Giddy in McCloud, California. From the moment we stepped into the bridal suite, it was obvious why this venue is such a dream. The bright white walls, stunning wallpaper, and oversized windows filled the room with the most beautiful natural light, making it an absolute photographer's dream. Every portrait felt timeless, clean, and effortlessly elegant.
Originally, we had planned to have Kayden and Ben’s first look outside, but with the summer heat climbing, we made the last-minute decision to keep it inside the bridal suite. It couldn't have been more perfect! The quiet atmosphere gave them a chance to truly soak in the moment together without distraction. Watching Ben see Kayden for the first time was incredibly sweet, and the soft window light made the entire experience feel even more intimate.
Throughout the day, every part of their celebration reflected who they are—joyful, genuine, and surrounded by an amazing community of family and friends. From heartfelt vows to laughter-filled conversations during the reception, there was never a shortage of meaningful moments to capture.
As the evening cooled down, we snuck away for sunset portraits with the breathtaking backdrop of Mt. Shasta. The mountain provided the perfect finishing touch to an already incredible day, and those portraits are easily some of our favorites. There's something so magical about ending a wedding day with golden light, mountain views, and two people completely wrapped up in the excitement of beginning their new life together.
The celebration continued well into the evening, and the dance floor certainly did not disappoint. Guests kept the energy high all night long with everything from classic line dances to some seriously impressive breakdancing moves that had everyone cheering and laughing. It was one of those receptions where no one wanted the night to end.
To close out the celebration, everyone gathered outside for a spectacular sparkler exit. The glowing tunnel of sparklers, smiling faces, and excitement made for the perfect grand finale to such an unforgettable wedding day.
Kayden and Ben, thank you so much for trusting us to capture one of the most important days of your lives. It was such an honor to celebrate alongside you, witness the incredible love surrounding you both, and preserve these memories for years to come. We are so excited for everything ahead for you two.
