Some wedding days just feel effortless. From the moment we arrived, everything seemed to fall perfectly into place—the sunshine, the mountain breeze, the joyful anticipation, and two people who couldn't wait to marry each other. Adria and Nick's wedding day was one of those celebrations where every moment felt peaceful, intentional, and filled with genuine joy.
Nestled in the mountains on their family's private ranch, every part of this wedding day felt meaningful. This ranch isn't just a gorgeous property—it's a place woven into their family's story. Adria's parents were married here, her brother was married here, and back in 2022, we had the incredible honor of photographing her older sister's wedding here as well. Returning to this special place and seeing so many familiar faces again was truly an honor and reminded us why we absolutely love being wedding photographers.
As if the location wasn't already perfect, the weather couldn't have been better. The mountains blessed us with sunshine, temperatures in the mid-70s, and the most refreshing breeze all day long. It was one of those days where everything felt effortless...although Matt and I definitely didn't realize just how much sun we were getting until much later! (Let's just say we both earned a surprise sunburn by the end of the day. 😂)
One of our favorite moments happened during the ceremony. Adria and Nick had not one, but two adorable "ring bearers"—their beloved dog, Riggins, and their sweet nephew, Cade. They proudly made their way down the aisle and completely stole the show. The funny part? The best man had the actual wedding rings safely tucked away the entire time! It made for such a fun surprise and gave all of the guests a moment they'll never forget.
Throughout the day, there was such an overwhelming sense of joy and peace. Every detail reflected Adria and Nick's love for each other and for the people surrounding them. From heartfelt vows to golden hour portraits and an unforgettable evening celebrating under the stars, every part of the day was a dream to photograph.
The celebration ended with a beautiful sparkler exit, the perfect finale to an absolutely perfect wedding day. Watching these two run through a tunnel of family and friends holding glowing sparklers was the sweetest ending to a day we'll never forget.
Adria and Nick, thank you for trusting us to capture another chapter in your family's incredible story. It has been such an honor to document these milestones over the years, and we are so excited for everything that lies ahead for you both. Congratulations!
