A Classy Spring Wedding at Turtle Bay + Sheraton Redding Ballroom

Michelle and Jason’s wedding day was nothing short of magical - an intimate, nature-inspired celebration full of love and elegant details. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Turtle Bay’s Gifford Pavilion and followed by a stunning Sheraton Wedding Reception in Redding, California, their day was a perfect reflection of who they are! As a Redding Wedding Photographer, it was an absolute dream to capture every heartfelt moment for them!!
The Gifford Pavilion, there at Turtle Bay and Sheraton, is nestled between towering redwood trees. Michelle and Jason’s love for the outdoors made this ceremony location the ideal spot! I just loved the wooden arch, shaped like mountains, that stood tall behind them as they shared their vows.
Michelle poured her heart into the floral arrangements, creating her own bouquet and reception centerpieces. Filled with peonies, white and peach roses, and eucalyptus, her bouquet was breathtaking. Fresh olive branches, clipped straight from her home, adorned some of the reception tables - simple yet stunning!
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect: a gentle breeze, blue skies, and soft clouds that added a romantic atmosphere to the day. One of the most touching moments was the first look between Michelle and Jason - he couldn’t help but cry at seeing her for the first time! It was a beautiful moment. Another tearjerker was Michelle’s first look with her dad. This one was deeply emotional and even had me bawling like a baby behind the lens!
The reception was held in the elegant ballroom at The Sheraton Redding Hotel. We were so impressed with Michell and Jason’s first dance, where they shared a choreographed waltz - graceful, heartfelt and unforgettable. Everything about their day was the definition of classy, elegant and meaningful.
Michelle and Jason, it was a complete honor getting to be your wedding photographers! You both are such a joy to work with and we left feeling like old friends. We wish you both a lifetime of joy and happiness. God Bless you both!
