Christine + Mark

Redding Elks Lodge Wedding

Christine + Mark Elopement and Wedding Day

Elopement

On Tuesday, 2/22/22, nestled between two beautiful pine trees, Christine and Mark said their “I Do’s”! It was such a sweet moment with them and their close family members. Christine wore a beautiful vintage-styled lace dress with white cowgirl boots and a short veil that was her sisters. It was an honor to capture this part of their celebration! This was their official wedding day but the coming Saturday was their big celebration with all their friends and family that travelled to celebrate with them. And we were so excited to be a part of both!

Wedding Day

We started Christine and Mark’s wedding day at the bridal suite in the Sheraton Hotel near the Sundial Bridge. It was a beautiful suite! It opened up into the courtyard where we captured some gorgeous photos of Christine getting into her amazing dress and putting the long flowy veil on for the first time. The room was filled with joy and laughter as the girls all got ready. Meanwhile Matt met up with the guys and hung out all while chatting about hunting, fishing, and you know the things guys always talk about! Haha!

Soon it was time to head to the first look location, Lake Redding Park. The bridal party gathered as we got Mark setup on the cement block under the bridge and Christine in place. Their first look was was so sweet! The look on Mark’s face when he saw her for the first time was priceless. She was stunning! A few people fishing out on the Sacramento River shouted their congratulations as they passed by. It was beautiful!

The ceremony and reception took place at the Elks Lodge. I hadn’t been to the Elks before but soon realized it was such a neat building! The ceremony was in the side room that had a really neat fireplace that reached up to the top of the high ceiling. The reception hall had a full wall of windows that overlooked the back courtyard which featured a massive pool and a beautiful white arbor. :) The reception tables were decorated with white and navy blue linens, a wood centerpiece with candles and gold/navy silverware. The favors were packages of coffee from Monarch Coffee Farm! One thing I loved about the ceremony is Christine and Mark had their dad’s write their vows to each other and it was just so fun and sweet! I thought that was such a fun way to include the dads.

After family formals we slipped Christine and Mark away for sunset portraits on the Dieselhorst Bridge. Rain clouds were gathering but we dodged the rain and got some epic portraits on the bridge with the mountains behind and Christine’s gorgeous veil flowing in the wind! We also got to watch another sweet couple sharing their first look on the bridge too! Afterwards we went back to the Elks for the reception.

The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and great food! It was so fun to watch everyone have such a good time. Christine and Mark are well loved! We even got to meet his 4th grade teacher! We are so happy for them and for what their future together will hold!! :)
