There’s just something so special about getting to photograph a family more than once. The first time I met Tricia and Michael was for their first maternity session where they were waiting to meet sweet Ryan! And now, I got to photograph her wearing her “Big Sister” jacket as they prepare to welcome another little one into their family.
This is why I love what I do.
I don’t just take pretty pictures - I get to walk with families through special seasons of their lives. From wedding day to maternity to newborn to expanding families, each chapter builds on the last and it’s such a blessing getting to capture it all!
Bidwell Park, even in the dead of winter, did not disappoint! The light filtered through the trees giving us such a dreamy glow. Tricia chose two outfits that were so perfect for this winter maternity session. Her first look was a short black dress paired with light brown suede boots - simple, classic, and effortlessly beautiful against the earthy tones of the park. Her second outfit was a long gorgeous green mermaid-styled dress. The color against the natural backdrop of the park was just stunning!

Katerim and Miguel’s family session at Verbena Fields in Chico, California was filled with love, soft light, and the sweetest smiles from their 6-month-old baby boy, Lucas. It was such a joy to reunite with this couple two years after photographing their wedding and capture this new, beautiful chapter in their lives!
