There are some families that become so much more than clients over the years, and Clay and Ashley are definitely one of those families for me.

Ashley and I have been friends for years, and it has been such a gift to document so many chapters of their story. From their engagement session and wedding day to maternity photos and family portraits, I've had the honor of watching their family grow through the years. Every time I photograph them, I'm reminded why I love what I do so much.

This session was especially sweet because I finally got to meet their newest little addition, Alora. She is absolutely precious! There is something so special about watching a family welcome a new baby, and seeing everyone settle into this new season together was such a joy. The love, laughter, and connection that Clay and Ashley shared during their engagement session all those years ago are still so evident today—only now that love has expanded to include two beautiful children.

We met at the beautiful 29 Rows Lavender Farm in Happy Valley for their family session. Even though the evening was definitely on the warm side, the lavender fields were in full bloom, a gentle breeze drifted through the rows, and the most beautiful golden light filled the field. It was one of those summer evenings that photographers dream about.

As I walked through the lavender field with them, I couldn't help but reflect on how incredible it has been to witness their journey. And how special it has been to capture them in the same lavender field for each of these milestones.

Clay and Ashley, thank you for allowing me to continue telling your family's story. It is truly one of the greatest honors of my job to preserve these memories. Love you guys! Can’t wait for our next coffee date!
