Glowy Light, White Blooms, and a Beautiful Senior | Camden House
Meet Fantasia
There’s something really special about senior sessions that hold a little more history… and this one did just that.
Fantasia’s session at the Camden House in French Gulch felt like one of those evenings where everything just came together. The kind of soft, glowy light that photographers dream about showed up right on cue—wrapping everything in this warm, golden softness that made every moment feel even more meaningful.
We wandered the property and found the most beautiful white blooms, delicate and timeless, which ended up being the perfect touch for a few of her portraits.
But what made this session stand out wasn’t just the light or the location… it was her.
Fantasia brought along her Bible, and I absolutely loved that she wanted to incorporate something so personal into her session. There was one moment in particular that I can’t stop thinking about—her holding it close, peeking her eyes up just above the pages. It was a perfect reflection of her personality and the faith that grounds her.
And honestly, that’s what made this session so meaningful for me.
I’ve known Fantasia and her mom for many years, so getting to photograph this season of her life—this milestone moment—felt like such an honor. Watching her grow into the beautiful young woman she is today… it just means more when you’ve seen the journey.
Sessions like this are such a reminder that these photos aren’t just about pretty outfits or perfect light (even though we definitely had both!). They’re about capturing who someone is.
Fantasia, I’m so proud of you and the woman you’re becoming. What a joy it was to celebrate this moment with you 🤍
