Spring Wildflower 8th Grade Portrait Session
Carmella | Little Bear Creek Ranch
What a beautiful young lady Carmella is! It was such an honor getting to do these portraits of her celebrating her graduation from 8th grade. She wanted lots of flowers and a little hint of a country-western vibe, I think we nailed it!
We met at Little Bear Creek Ranch and started the session along the wooden fence area. Carmella’s adorable white dress and cowgirl boots fit the scene so well! We then had some fun with some blooms we found near the barn. She was such a trooper with me having her sit on the ground and lean into the flowers! Those were some of my favorite portraits. But I think the best of all was stopping at the edge of the pasture where some wildflowers were blooming! It was so beautiful! Even the mosquitoes couldn’t stop us from getting these fun photos!
Carm, congrats on graduating 8th grade! Can’t believe you’ll be in high school next year already. So excited for you and wish you all the best!!
-Love, Jen

Some families become so much more than clients, and Clay and Ashley are one of those families for me. From their engagement session and wedding day to maternity photos and now family portraits with their newest little addition, Alora, it has been such a gift to document their journey. We returned to the beautiful 29 Rows Lavender Farm in Happy Valley, where golden summer light, blooming lavender, and years of memories came together for a truly special evening.
