Meet the Calciano & Manteiga Families

I have had the privilege of photographing these two amazing families for the past five years! FIVE YEARS!! I love it! I love getting to watch these kiddos grow each year. When they first arrived, I walked up to Daisy and said “Hi Daisy how are you?!” She just looked up at me and immediately said “Wait, how do you know my name?” Haha! So adorable! I remember when Cameron was just born too, gosh the time sure does fly by…
I was so proud of Ryder! Each year he seems to get better and better at standing for family portraits and getting a quick smile out of him. You can see that he’s really taken a shine to Cody and that just makes my heart so happy! Some exciting news too that I found out about after the shoot, Cody & Jamie bought their first home this year! That’s sooo awesome! They deserve it and I am so excited for them!
Their outfit coordination today was just spot on! Ok, I’m not going to lie, they ALWAYS show up with amazing outfits!! Both Jamie & Toni’s boots were just adorable! I need them to just coordinate my outfits for me from here on out… haha!
What I love to see the most at each of my family sessions is the beautiful interaction between the parents and their children. You can tell when kids love their mommy and daddy (even step-mommy or step-daddy if that applies) by their reactions to having pictures taken with them. Melts my heart!
