What a joy it was to photograph this sweet family in the beautiful town of Chester, California! The fall colors were showing off in the best way—golden leaves, crisp air, and that cozy mountain-town glow that makes this time of year so spectacular.

I had the honor of photographing Tricia and Michael two years ago when Tricia was pregnant with little Ryan (See their maternity session HERE), and now getting to see them all together as a family was such a treat! Ryan is absolutely adorable—her big smiles and the way she lights up around her daddy just melted my heart. The sweet connection between them was pure joy to capture.

We started the session right in the middle of town, where Tricia had found the most perfect patch of trees bursting with yellow leaves. It was the perfect fall backdrop! Then, as the sun began to set, we headed over to the Olsen Barn Meadows. The soft golden light and open fields made for such a dreamy ending to the session.

I’m so grateful I got to reconnect with this wonderful family and capture another special chapter in their story. Can’t wait to see them all again soon! 🍂✨
