Runnings Family

I had the absolute joy of photographing the Runnings Family once again—this time at the McConnell Foundation in Redding, California! And here’s a fun little secret… every single image from this session was taken in a parking lot! Sometimes the most unexpected locations turn into the most magical spots, and this one was proof of that.

The trees were showing off in the most vibrant shades of red, perfectly matching Chelsie’s cozy sweater. Victoria was all smiles from the very beginning, and her joyful energy was contagious. She had the best time tossing leaves into the air and sharing the sweetest hugs and kisses with her mom and dad. Moments like those are the ones I love capturing most—pure, playful, and full of love.

As the sun began to set, a soft golden glow filtered through the trees and created a dreamy backdrop for their portraits. It was one of those evenings where everything just clicked—the colors, the light, the family love.

I’ve had the honor of photographing the Runnings Family multiple times now, and it truly means the world to me. Watching families grow and getting to preserve their memories year after year is one of my favorite parts of this job. I can’t wait to see them again next time! 💛
