Jones Family Session

Meet the Jones Family

Old Shasta Fall Family Session

I just absolutely love getting to meet new families! The Jones family were so fun and joyful! We all had a great time in Old Shasta. It was the perfect day for portraits there. The kiddos enjoyed running around the brick ruins!

Chris contacted me about a month ago inquiring about booking a family session as a surprise for his wife, Jessica. Such an awesome surprise! He mentioned that she’s typically always the one behind the camera taking photos of their family and it was time they got some with her in them!! :D It was such an honor to capture these memories for them!!

If you’ve never been to Old Shasta before, it’s a very small quaint little town just past Redding as you’re traveling 299 heading to Whiskeytown Lake. The Historic Park there has a strip of old brick ruins, a mercantile, and an old courthouse building where you can take tours if you’d like (which includes the old jail! It’s pretty cool!). Super fun outing for a family with school aged kiddos! A lot of history there which is fascinating. I love history, especially about little towns like Old Shasta. :)

Such a sweet moment!!!!
