Indian Creek Lodge in Douglas City, California
I love getting to travel and photograph awesome places to stay here in Northern California! You may remember the cabin in Klamath Falls earlier this year…(If not there’s a link to that blog post at the bottom of this post) well now I’d love to show you another awesome place, Indian Creek Lodge!
Indian Creek Lodge is located right off HWY 299 in Douglas City, California. It’s the perfect spot to do some fishing and relaxing. The lodge is nestled alongside the Trinity River and the beautiful mountainscape of Trinity County. They have a wide variety of rooms for all family sizes. I was super impressed with room 9, which is basically an entire house!
Spacious Rooms
Along with having super clean rooms, they also have an amazing lounge area with a foosball table and other family friendly games. Next to the lounge they have a covered patio area that overlooks the river. It’s the perfect spot to spend time with your family. There’s also a BBQ area down below and closer to the river. You’ll also want to check out the gift shop!
Perfect Place for Fly Fishing
If you love fly fishing, there are several guided trips that you can look into. There’s a whole list on their website. A famous person you may have heard of, Bing Crosby, visited Indian Creek Lodge many years ago to enjoy fly fishing on the Trinity River. Indian Creek Lodge has served its guests for over 65 years and they look forward to many more years to come!
