There’s just something about Newborn Photography that has me captivated! I love the challenge of getting them to sleep, slowly molding them into cute poses, and capturing the cuteness before they start growing. I love this quote, “The littlest feet make the biggest footprints in our hearts.”
I’ve known Cody’s momma for a LONG, LONG time. And his grandma, Loretta, is such a wonderful, Godly lady. One that I look up to! I always know that I can count on her. It’s so awesome to see families grow and babies born. Babies are one of God’s greatest gifts.
American Patriotism has run in my family veins for generations! That’s why when I saw this wood American Flag handcrafted by a local high school student, I just had to have it! The red stripe is also a tribute to our firefighters who fought those horrible fires in our communities last year. During this newborn session, I was grabbing different props and I saw the flag leaning against my wall. I just knew I needed to use it! And I am so glad I did! Cody was the perfect baby to use with the flag. The last image you see on this post is him raising his hand and to me it just seems like a salute to our country! Haha, I know he doesn’t know what he’s doing. But it speaks to me. If we teach our kids how to love and respect our flag when they’re little, they’ll grow up with patriotism already in their hearts! “I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free. And I won’t forget the men who died, that gave that right to me and I’ll gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today. Cause there ain’t no doubt, I love this land! God bless the USA!”
Lynda, I’m so excited for you! Cody is absolutely adorable and precious. Praying for you! I know motherhood can be very challenging and at times you just want to throw your hands up in exasperation, but remember you have lots of support around you. Love you girl!
