A Prescott Wedding
When I did the walk-through of the Prescott Ballroom five days before the wedding I said to myself, “this is going to be awesome!” The venue is absolutely stunning! And the bridal suite was perfect, full of natural light and creamy/dreamy colors. It is definitely the photographer’s dream venue!
I met Jeni at the Wrangler Hair Salon before heading to the venue and as I’m getting ready to start shooting Matt goes, “um, don’t look behind you…” So what do we do when someone says that? I look behind me! Of course! Haha! And what did I see…An entire bookcase full of Montana West PURSES! I knew I was in trouble. I captured Jeni’s makeup then ran over to the bookcase for a closer look. Let’s just say I ended up leaving the salon with an awesome new purse and Matt’s wallet a little thinner… Oops… :)
The week leading up to Jeff & Jeni’s wedding day had lots of high winds. But they subsided just in time! It was a gorgeous day. Perfect weather, perfect venue, simply perfect! There were around 120 guests and what was so neat is the ceremony and reception were in the same room! So the guests got to sit at a table during the ceremony. I thought that was awesome! We also got to sneak them away and drove them to the House of Design for some more portraits (which are my favorites!!!). The gardens at the House of Design are beautiful!!
Let’s chat about Jeni’s dress… Oh my word, GORGEOUS! Yes that’s the word. Her dress was absolutely stunning and fit her perfectly! She told me she didn’t need any alterations at all. First time she tried it on, she knew that was the one and it was just perfect. I love the bridesmaids dresses as well. The creams and deep purple tones throughout the whole day were awesome!

Jeff & Jeni have both lost their mothers. I thought it was the sweetest thing that they had a memorial table dedicated to them.
Jeff’s emotion when seeing his bride for the first time in her gown, had me in tears! So priceless! And I was so happy that Jeni’s dad was able to make it and walk her down the isle.
I just have to point out the DJ! He was a riot! Netsound does a great job!!
These two were awesome!!! Katlyn did all the decorating and also played the role of Wedding Coordinator. She was amazing to work with! It was such a pleasure meeting you, Katlyn!
